Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $1,912 per week in Winston Salem, NC

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 Years License: Active Nursing License Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, PALS, MOAB Must-Have: Minimum of 2 years of experience. Traveler experience preferred. Required skills: IV Start, Triage, Telemetry. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS, MOAB. Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could possibly lead to a cancel and DNR. The unit will accept first-time travelers. Local candidates are accepted with a rate difference. The patient ratio is 1:3-5 with 250 visits per day. The unit has 101 beds. Candidates must float between the Emergency Observation Unit and Emergency Behavioral Health as needed. A minimum of four weekend days is required per six-week schedule and could be as much as every other weekend. The patient population includes all age groups from neonates to geriatrics. Daily census is approximately 250 visits. Candidates must pass EKG testing prior to the start for this specialty. A teamwork approach and adherence to behavioral expectations in all interactions with patients and staff are essential. All policies must be strictly enforced.
