Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,272 per week in Washington, DC

Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 3 Years Required License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse Certifications: NIHSS, TNCC, BLS, PALS, ACLS Required Must-Have: BSN Highly Desired, Cerner Experience Required Description: Must live 50 miles away. 3 x 12-hour night shifts. Travelers must be willing and able to work in the trauma room as the bedside trauma RN. Willingness to take a 1:5 patient ratio is required. The Emergency Department is a fast-paced environment that treats every type of patient. Emergency Department nurses manage critical care skills such as medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusions, and chest tubes. Patients include those requiring urgent care, psychiatric care, pediatric care, and critical care/trauma management. Coordinates and delivers care to patients with complex nursing needs to ensure the highest level of safety and quality. Promotes a positive patient experience.
