Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,754 per week in Albany, GA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 17 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: Active RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS Must-Have: Must have 5+ years of experience and at least 1 travel assignment. Must have Meditech experience. All travelers must have TNCC certification. Description: The facility operates under a 75-mile radius rule. The driver's license address must be included in the submission. There are approximately 180-200 patient visits per day. There is a 6-bed behavioral lockdown area staffed by psychiatric personnel. The nurse-patient ratio is 1 to 4. Nurses are responsible for their own lab draws and IV starts. A dedicated respiratory therapist is available 24/7 to manage vents. Pharmacy services are available 24/7 on-site. Common diagnoses include pediatric to geriatric patients. Trauma patients are treated on-site, and some are transported to other facilities. The facility is recognized as a CVA center. Caribbean blue scrubs are required. There is an expectation to complete orientation in the first week. Cancellation policy applies to all shifts. Charting is done through Meditech.
