Contract | Night Shift | Onsite | Shifts: 6:30 AM–7:00 PM / 6:30 PM–7:00 AM | Every other weekend required | Every third holiday required
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a fast-paced Progressive Care Unit serving adult and geriatric populations with cardiac, nephrology, stroke, diabetes, and continuous EEG monitoring diagnoses
Titrate drips including Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications
Maintain a patient assignment ratio of 1:4–5 within a 35-bed unit
Collaborate with charge nurses, patient care techs, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient outcomes
Float as needed to medical floors, ICU, or rehab units
Demonstrate critical thinking, strong communication, and effective problem-solving in a high-acuity environment
Required Qualifications
Active RN license
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Current NIHSS certification
Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care areas; compliance is required as a condition of contract
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in a Progressive Care, Stepdown, or IMC setting
Experience titrating cardiac and neurological drips
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity unit
