Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse position in Issaquah, Washington. This role involves providing specialized care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery. The position requires a comprehensive understanding of obstetric procedures, neonatal care, and the ability to respond efficiently in a high-pressure environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Two years of experience in Labor and Delivery, valid state license (compact license must be in hand at submission), BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRN (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with postpartum care, infant assessment, and neonatal procedures such as thermoregulation, phototherapy, and hypoglycemia management.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required to Neonatal Intensive Care Unit or Labor and Delivery units.
  • Additional Information: Candidates should be prepared to work on weekends and meet staffing needs according to unit requirements. Experience with electronic charting systems, particularly Epic, is necessary. Candidates must have at least 1 year of clinical experience in Labor and Delivery.
