Job Summary

A Long Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Medford, Wisconsin. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care within a skilled nursing facility and requires the ability to float between units as necessary. The job offers evenings shifts, starting in August 2026, with a schedule of 8 hours per day, totaling at least 40 hours per week.

  • Required Qualifications: Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license, American Heart Association (AHA) or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, minimum of 2+ years previous experience in skilled nursing facility long-term care setting, strong medication administration skills, associate degree or certificate in nursing, previous experience in a skilled nursing setting, ability to float to short-term, long-term, and community-based residential facility (CBRF) units.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Additional Information:
    • Must be capable of floating between short-term, long-term, and CBRF units.
    • Must work every other weekend and holiday as per rotation.
    • Scrubs must be clean and work appropriate.
    • Contract includes up to 36 unbillable low census hours, which may include on-call for low census periods.
    • On-call hours are counted toward low census hours; call back pay is available with a minimum of 2 hours.
    • During flu season, any traveler declining flu and COVID-19 vaccinations will be required to wear a mask at all times.
    • Successful candidates will have strong medication administration skills and experience working with 3 aides and 2 nurses per shift.
