Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) Wausau, WI. This position involves providing inpatient care on a specialized medical and pediatrics unit with a focus on common adult diagnoses such as respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal issues, diabetic management, renal failure, and infectious diseases. The role requires collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes during night shifts.

Job Details:

• Location: Wausau, WI
• Shift: Night shift, 12-hour nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: WI RN License, BLS- AHA or ARC certification, minimum 2 years of experience, Trauma level II experience highly preferred, EPIC charting experience required, Associate Degree or Certificate (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree
• Float: Float rotation may be required to all inpatient units as needed.
• Additional Information:
  • Guaranteed hours per week excluding holidays and low census periods.
  • Ability to manage independently, handle change, and collaborate effectively.
  • Successful completion of clinical interview services and compliance with vaccination policies is mandatory.
  • Holiday rotation every other holiday.
