Job Title: Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 20 weeks (13 weeks also accepted) Shift: Night 3x12-Hour / Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Must have 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty applying for. Must have 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience. License: Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand. Certifications: American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required. Must-Have: Traveler must work at least every other holiday. Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation with acceptable scores. References from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for are required. Open cases or license hits will not be accepted. Negative 10 Panel drug screen required within 12 months of start. Description: Seeking a Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse. The position may require floating to designated units to care for similar patient populations. Rotating shifts of 7 PM-7:30 AM and 7 AM-7:30 PM. Shifts may vary to meet operational needs. The traveler will receive two attempts to pass required assessments; otherwise, cancellation may occur. All required certifications must be active at the time of submission. Exemptions from nicotine-free facility requirements apply to certain roles. A six-month break is required before returning after an assignment. Modules will be billed for up to four hours annually.
