Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg / Telemetry - $2,614 per week in Saint Louis, MO

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years License: Current RN License eligible for licensure in the state of Missouri Certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only, NIHSS preferred Must-Have: 2+ years of Telemetry experience Team player who cares for positive patient outcomes Superior communication skills Description: Performs direct patient care activities for all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort. Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with established guidelines of nursing practice. Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Mission and Values, and Service Standards. The unit has a patient ratio of 4-6:1, estimates, not guarantees. Standard nursing equipment on the telemetry unit is utilized. The electronic medical record system is in place. Weekend work is required on an every-other-weekend basis. Candidates should be expected to work major winter holidays. Night shifts will orient on day shifts. Traveler must be available for the entire week for orientation.
