Contract | Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | 4x12-hour shifts | Schedule options of 36/36, 36/48, or 48/48 available | Every other weekend required | No call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Orthopedic, Spine, Medical, and Surgical unit with a 1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Float to other units as needed based on census and staffing requirements
• Actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education alongside the provision of direct patient care
• Complete required orientation modules (approximately 4–5 hours, non-billable) and online computer-based learning (CBL) modules on the designated orientation day
• Maintain compliance with all facility and regulatory standards, including fit testing per CDC guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical/Telemetry experience required
• AHA BLS certification required (AHA is the only accepted form; no alternatives will be accepted)
• Relias EKG testing must be completed within 72 hours of signing; two attempts allowed — failure of both or non-completion results in automatic cancellation
• Drug test must be completed within 12–14 calendar days prior to start date; candidates should have no prior engagements during this window and be willing to return for a second test if needed
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in both Medical Surgical and Telemetry settings strongly preferred
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Familiarity with orthopedic or spine patient populations is a plus
