Job Title: RN Float Pool

Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7 PM - 7:30 AM)
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in MedSurg/Tele/Critical Care Units required
License: Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required through American Heart Association or RQI system. NIHSS required. Basic Coronary Care within 6 months of hire. CPI certification within 90 days of hire
Must-Have: Must be cross-trained for multiple units (med/surg, ICU, ER). Must demonstrate ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Must be able to work in a professional and courteous manner. Must meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities. Must have excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills. Must be computer literate.
Description:
RN Nights (7 PM - 7 AM) with weekend and holiday rotations required.
Flexibility to float to various units including ICU, ER, Med/Surg, and MST is essential.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
The role requires critical care experience and additional certifications.
Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served on the assigned unit are essential.
The individual must possess the ability to assess data reflecting patient status and interpret necessary information to identify each patient's requirements relative to their age-specific needs.
Experience with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office is preferred.
