Key Responsibilities
As a MedSurg Float Travel RN, you will:
Provide high-quality nursing care across multiple MedSurg units as assigned
Adapt quickly to different patient populations, workflows, and care teams
Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage IV therapies
Deliver evidence-based care for acute and chronic conditions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
Accurately document patient assessments and interventions in EHR systems
Support discharge planning and patient education
Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
Qualifications
Active Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license (or compact license eligible)
Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
1-2 years of MedSurg or acute care experience required
Strong adaptability and ability to float across multiple units
Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced travel assignment setting
