Key Responsibilities As a MedSurg Registered Nurse, you will:
Provide direct nursing care to adult patients with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions
Monitor patient status, administer medications, and manage IV therapies
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care continuously
Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge planning
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities
Respond to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions
Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
Active RN license in the state of Indiana (or eligibility to obtain)
BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
MedSurg or acute care experience preferred
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and multitasking skills
