First Connect Health has an immediate 13-week travel contract opening for an experienced Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) in Lawton, Oklahoma. Operating within a 265-bed regional referral medical center, this position offers a structured 5x8 daytime schedule (06:30 AM - 15:00 PM / 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday). PRE-CALCULATED PAY PACKAGE

• Weekly Gross: $2,110.00
• Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,246.00
• Hourly W2 Rate: $24.00/hr (36 regular hours)

SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

• Schedule: Day shifts, 5x8-Hours (06:30 AM - 15:00 PM / 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday schedule).
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours guaranteed weekly.
• On-Call Requirements: Standby call is required. Expectations include 1–2 weekend call days per 13-week assignment period plus weeknight call rotation. Standby call rate is $2.00/hr (1-hour minimum call-back guarantee).
• Clinical Scope & Case Mix: Provides perioperative circulating and patient care across surgical service lines including General Surgery, Orthopedics, and Neurosurgery (CVOR experience is preferred).
• Orientation Start: Nursing orientation commences on Thursdays.

REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION

• Experience: Minimum 4 years of clinical OR RN experience is strictly required. Demonstrated expertise in General, Ortho, and Neuro cases is mandatory.
• Licensure: Active Oklahoma RN License or active Compact/NLC Multistate License required in hand at submittal.
• Certifications Required:
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Employment Eligibility Restrictions: Former direct employees of Comanche County Memorial Health (CCMH) must have a minimum 6-month separation period prior to agency placement.
