Job Title: RN Telemetry IProfession: RN Telemetry ISpecialty: RN Telemetry IDuration: 13 weeksShift: 06:45 PM - 07:15 AMHours per Shift: 12Experience: Minimum 1 yearLicense: Registered Nurse LicenseCertifications:- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification- Successful completion of a proctored rhythm testMust-Have:- Ability to provide cardiac bedside monitoring- Experience with cardiac drips and post-heart catheterization care- Experience with stroke/neuro patient careDescription:Unit capacity: 36 Beds.Population served includes cardiac and neuro stepdown patients.Responsibilities include cardiac bedside monitoring and administration of cardiac drips.Care for patients recovering from heart catheterization procedures.Manage overflow for BIPAP patients.Patient age range includes young adults through late adults (ages 18-60+).Nurse to patient ratio is 6:1.Core staffing includes Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), and Nurse Interns (NIs).An RN assumes full responsibility for the patients on each team.
