Description:
This position is responsible for providing patient care activities for all age groups.
Nursing assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation are essential functions of the role.
The RN will monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments.
Utilizing the nursing process to enhance patient comfort and outcomes is a priority.
The RN will maintain professional accountability for the provision of patient care.
Collaboration with other departments is necessary to coordinate patient care effectively.
The role requires adherence to patient rights and confidentiality protocols.
Physical requirements include standing and walking for most of the duty period.
Bending, stooping, lifting, and turning patients with assistance are common tasks.
The RN may work varying schedules and shifts to meet patient care requirements.
This position involves potential exposure to blood and body fluids.
Physical demands include pushing, pulling, gripping up to 50 lbs., and minimal kneeling or crawling.
The RN will function within the established guidelines of nursing practice and regulations.
Professional conduct and alignment with organizational mission, values, and service standards are expected.
The department consists of 32 beds, with varying patient ratios.
Careful consideration is given to patient care circumstances.
The RN will float on a rotational basis as per facility requirements.
Experience with medical telemetry and patients with developmental delays is preferred.
Flexibility and decisiveness are important traits for success in this role.
Black scrubs are the required dress code.
