Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Operating Room – Santa Rosa, CA 95405

Start Date: August 24, 2026

Location: Santa Rosa, California

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (18:45 - 07:15). Variable start times may include 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM. On-call requirement: 6-8 shifts per 6-week period (including nights, evenings, and weekends, 8-hour shifts). Weekend coverage required. May need to cover one night shift within contract as needed.

Highlights:

  • 277-bed acute care hospital with Level I Trauma designation
  • Comprehensive surgical services including trauma, orthopedics, neurosurgery, vascular, robotics, general, GU, and GYN procedures
  • Epic charting system with 40 hours of paid orientation
  • Free parking provided; scrubs provided for OR staff
  • Daily census of approximately 25 cases with interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams
  • Exposure to advanced surgical technology including Da Vinci Xi Surgical System

Requirements:

  • Valid California RN license in hand (pending licenses not accepted)
  • Minimum 2-3 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
  • Level I Trauma experience required with demonstrated competency in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic procedures
  • Previous travel nursing experience required
  • BLS certification required
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • Willingness to float between like units and affiliated facilities as needed
  • Must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
  • Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
