Job Overview
We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) for a 14-week travel contract assignment in Clarksdale, Mississippi. The PT will provide comprehensive rehabilitation services, including evaluation, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions to support patient recovery and mobility.
This role requires strong clinical expertise, rehabilitation experience, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate patient conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve strength, mobility, and function
Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
Provide gait training, mobility support, and functional rehabilitation
Educate patients and families on therapy goals and home programs
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Ensure safe and effective use of rehabilitation equipment
Support patient recovery and independence goals
Requirements
Active Physical Therapist (PT) license required
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent required
Minimum 1 year of clinical PT experience preferred
Current BLS certification required
Experience in skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred
Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
Ability to work weekday daytime schedule
Must comply with facility health and safety requirements
Valid government-issued photo identification required
