    Contract | Full-Time (40 hours/week) | Onsite | Days | Monday–Friday with Weekend Rotation

    Key Responsibilities
    • Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs and physician direction.
    • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to address all barriers to discharge, including equipment trialing and ordering, patient and family training, home exercise program issuance, and planning for continuing services.
    • Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, including daily notes, goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, discharge documentation, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines.
    • Effectively manage individual, concurrent, and group treatment sessions based on patient care needs, demonstrating flexibility in caseload management and coverage.
    • Participate in student programs as assigned, providing appropriate supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations.
    • Adhere to the discipline-specific State Practice Act and all regulatory agency requirements, maintaining professional licensure in good standing and completing all state-mandated continuing education requirements.
    Required Qualifications
    • Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist licensure in the state of Florida.
    • Ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop goal-directed treatment plans focused on functional outcomes and timely discharge.
    • Proficiency in medical record documentation in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines.
    • Knowledge of and adherence to discipline-specific professional codes of conduct and ethical standards.
    • Ability to work within an interdisciplinary team environment and manage a varied caseload.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in an inpatient rehabilitation or acute care hospital setting.
    • Prior experience supervising or mentoring Physical Therapy students.
    • Active involvement in professional organizations, continuing education, or community advocacy efforts.
