Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PICU position at a pediatric hospital in Ohio, requiring recent Level 1 experience and a willingness to float to multiple units on a night shift schedule.

Details

• Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting within a children's hospital
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
• Floating required to NICU, CV PICU, ED, stepdown, and med-surg units as needed
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of PICU experience highly preferred; first-time travelers considered with closer to 3 years of PICU experience
• Recent Level 1 facility experience required
• 2 supervisory references required, with at least 1 supervisor or manager-titled reference (charge nurse references not accepted)

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered with sufficient PICU experience (closer to 3 years)
• Local candidates are not eligible for this RN position
• Candidates who have worked permanently at this facility must have a gap of at least 2 years before being considered
• Floating to different units is a firm expectation and candidates must be fully prepared to comply
