Respiratory Therapist – Pediatrics / Neuro Diagnostics

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Rotation Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services in a pediatric setting, including NICU Level IV and/or Pediatric ICU environments
- Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory conditions in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
- Participate in holiday rotation and every-other-weekend scheduling as required by the unit
- Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs based on experience level
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records system
- Participate in emergency response team assignments as required, including during hurricane season (June through November)
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification through NBRC
- Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP) license — must be in hand at time of start
- Current BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
- NICU Level IV experience required; Pediatric ICU experience may be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic electronic health records system
- Background in both NICU and Pediatric ICU settings
