Travel Respiratory Therapy Technician in Front Royal, VA

Travel: Registered Respiratory Therapist (Nights - 3x12's)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM, 3x12's) | Onsite | 13-Week Assignment | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across the hospital including the Emergency Room, Medical Surgical, and Critical Care Stepdown units
• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for pulmonary disease
• Administer and monitor respiratory treatments and interventions
• Deliver pulmonary-related patient education
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic EMR
• May be asked to work additional hours beyond the standard scheduled shift as needed

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Certification required
• Active Virginia Respiratory Therapy License required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only) required
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association only) required
• Minimum 2+ years of Respiratory Therapy experience required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a multi-unit hospital setting including ICU and general medical floors
• Familiarity with critical care and stepdown patient populations
