Join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Float Pool, specializing in CCU/ICU at a leading acute-care hospital in Geneva, NY. This is a full-time contract position requiring flexibility to float to various units including ICU, ER, MS, and MST.

Requirements:

• License: Must be currently licensed by NYS as a registered professional nurse.
• Certifications:
  • Minimum: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required through AHA or the RQI system during clinical orientation and NIHSS.
  • Basic Coronary Care within 6 months of hire.
  • CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Preferred: Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association recommended within 2 years of hire. TNCC recommended within 2 years of hire.
• Other:
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to deal with people in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and enhance teamwork through effective role modeling.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and organization skills.
  • Computer literacy; experience with Microsoft Office products and electronic medical records preferred.
