Assistant Superintendent for Data Center Projects

Job Description

Assist the Superintendent with day-to-day field operations on large-scale Data Center projects. Coordinate and oversee subcontractor activities to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to project specifications. Monitor jobsite safety, quality control, and overall construction progress. Review plans, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation. Assist with scheduling and coordination of multiple trades. Conduct site walks and track project progress. Support inspections, punch list completion, and turnover activities. Communicate effectively with subcontractors, vendors, project management, and the client. Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, schedule, and productivity. Travel extensively to project locations as required.

The Successful Applicant

Data Center construction experience is required. Previous experience as an Assistant Superintendent, Field Engineer, Superintendent, or similar construction field role. Strong understanding of commercial or mission-critical construction processes. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills. Ability and willingness to travel extensively for project assignments. Experience working with multiple subcontractors and trades in a fast-paced environment. OSHA 30 and/or relevant safety certifications preferred. Procore or similar construction technology experience preferred.
