    Job Description:

    Ultrasound Technologist - Urology

    Location: Queens, NY

    Hours: 5/8.5 hour shifts, Monday - Friday (between 7:30am-6:00pm)

    Organization: New York Imaging (NYI)

    In This Role, You Will:

    • Perform a wide range of urology related ultrasound exams including, renal, bladder, prostate and small parts in an outpatient setting

    • Prepare preliminary written impressions and communicate results to on site urologists

    • Maintain and document regular equipment maintenance

    • Review and execute current lab protocols and assure emergent tests are expedited

    • Assist doctors with outpatient-related procedures/biopsies.

    • Follow and understand all radiology policies and procedures

    • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

    • Demonstrate excellent communication, organization, and computer skills

    We Require:

    • Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or equivalent

    • ARDMS (AB) certification required

    • Bachelor's or Associate’s degree preferred

    • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience

    • Urology ultrasound experience is a plus
