Video Editor, Robotaxi

We are seeking a talented and experienced Video Editor to join our Robotaxi Content team based in Austin, TX. This person will be responsible for taking video projects from post-production to final delivery, ensuring videos are completed on time while maintaining Tesla's video standards and upholding the Tesla brand.

This role is post-production-focused. Content will include public-facing Robotaxi videos - product, factory, and industry updates; customer engagement; and creative content that highlights milestones, product launches, the customer journey, and public engagement.

• Develop edit concepts that serve business needs and communicate the vision to stakeholders and collaborators
• Collaborate closely with creatives to shape stories and define pacing, tone, and structure
• Lead the post-production workflow from ingest to final delivery, including versioning, color, sound, motion graphics, and basic VFX
• Maintain consistency across projects by applying Tesla's visual identity and editorial standards
• Coordinate interdepartmentally within Tesla to align on edit feedback, revisions, and approvals
• Troubleshoot technical challenges and ensure delivery specs are met across formats and platforms
• Organize and archive digital assets locally and via shared content platforms (Frame.io)
• 5+ years of video editing at an agency, production company, or in-house creative department, with proven experience from post-production to final delivery
• A strong reel demonstrating storytelling, pacing, visual continuity, and finish across short-form and long-form work; branded, documentary, or automotive content a plus
• Highly creative, organized, and detailed; able to carry multiple projects in parallel and turn challenges into opportunities
• Editing in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
• After Effects or DaVinci Resolve for titling, motion graphics, and basic VFX
• Solid understanding of color grading, sound design, and post workflows for short-form and long-form content
• Experience with asset management systems, proxy workflows, and cloud-based review tools (e.g., Frame.io)
