    Description

    Mays Chemical Company, Inc. is a fully integrated chemical distributor, recognized as an optimal source for chemicals, related raw materials, formulated products, and outsourcing services.Mays is seeking a Warehouse Associate to work in the New Jersey facility. The selected candidate will report to the Warehouse Supervisor. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following essential duties:

    Loading/unloading inbound and outbound trucksReceived all inbound products.Loads and unload all inbound and outbound trucks using forklift.Double-checks loads for inventory agreement on both inbound and outbound trucks.Re-packs skids as needed for storage on racks.Restocks pick areas as needed.Processes required paperwork for nation truckloads.Schedules carrier for mixed loads.Provides backup to Pickers.Performs other duties and assignments as requiredCompleting all required paperworkRestocking pick areas and repacking skids as needed

    Knowledge and Skills:

    Candidate will operate Raymond Swing Reach forklifts, slip sheet loaders, pallet inverters and drum snatchers.Candidate must be able to lift 50 lbs. independently, and 100 lbs. with assistance.Candidate will be required to work in Shipping/Receiving and perform general maintenance.

    Education/Experience:

    High school diploma or equivalent required.Forklift experience required;One (1) plus year(s) of experience operating standard manual and automatic packaging equipment, and warehouse operation functions such as cycle counting and RF Scanner use.Proficiency in basic computer skills required.One (1) plus year(s) of receiving and shipping experience in a chemical environment preferred.
