JD Manufacturing and Distribution (JD M&D) supports Teapulse's growing store network by receiving, storing, picking, and distributing ingredients, packaging, supplies, and equipment. We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Warehouse Associate who will help keep warehouse and store-delivery operations accurate, safe, clean, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, count, and inspect shipments against purchase orders, packing lists, and receiving records.
• Verify product condition, labels, lot or batch codes, and expiration dates; report shortages, damage, or nonconforming items.
• Put away products correctly and maintain organized storage using FIFO/FEFO practices.
• Pick, pack, label, double-check, and stage store orders for delivery or pickup.
• Record inventory movements and assist with cycle counts and full physical inventories.
• Load and unload vehicles and organize orders by route or store.
• Follow food-safety, allergen, sanitation, PPE, equipment-use, and workplace-safety requirements.
• Keep work areas clean and report low or near-expiration stock, damage, equipment issues, and unsafe conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; 1 year of warehouse, fulfillment, distribution, inventory, or food and beverage experience preferred.
• Must reliably commute to 175 Price Pkwy, Farmingdale, NY 11735 for scheduled shifts.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and regularly stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull.
• Comfortable with hand trucks, pallet jacks, carts, scanners, and basic warehouse equipment; forklift certification is a plus.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory systems, barcode scanners, spreadsheets, and digital records.
• Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and able to work safely in a fast-paced team environment.
• Available for occasional weekends or overtime as business needs require.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship available).
• Effective English communication; Mandarin Chinese is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Base pay: $20–$27/hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Performance-based KPI incentive opportunity. Specific targets, evaluation criteria, review periods, and payout details will be discussed during the interview process.
