    • Position and clamp components of fabricated metal products in preparation for welding.
    • Inspect and repair cracks in industrial products using specialized equipment.
    • Assist with related tasks as assigned.

    Competencies

    • Reliable and consistent performance.
    • Strong listening skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to follow directions carefully.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
    • Minimum of five years of experience in various welding techniques.
    • Ability to pass performance or certification tests, as required.
    • Team-oriented mindset.

    Working Conditions and Physical Demands

    • Must wear PPE such as safety shoes, goggles, and hoods with protective lenses.
    • Regularly required to stand, use hands, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and communicate effectively.
    • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
    • Vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustments.
    • Regular exposure to vibration and occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, heights, and risk of electrical shock.
    • Work environment noise levels are typically very loud.

    Equal Opportunity Employment
We are committed to providing equal employment opportunities and reasonable accommodations to applicants and employees as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

This description outlines the general nature and responsibilities of the position and is not intended to be exhaustive of all duties required.
