WHITE COLLAR LEGAL SECRETARY

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
* Pay: $80,000-$85,000 annually
* Full-time | Direct Hire
* Standard business hours, Monday-Friday
ROLE IMPACT
Join a collaborative legal team supporting attorneys in a sophisticated White Collar Criminal Defense and Tax practice. This role is critical to keeping complex litigation matters organized, ensuring court deadlines are met, and providing high-level administrative support in fast-paced, confidential legal matters. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal direction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Prepare, edit, proofread, and file legal documents for federal court and related proceedings.
* Manage attorney calendars, court deadlines, meetings, travel, and case files.
* Coordinate litigation support, including discovery, exhibits, trial notebooks, and document organization.
* Communicate professionally with clients, courts, government agencies, and opposing counsel while maintaining strict confidentiality.
* Support matters involving government investigations, internal investigations, and complex criminal litigation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience supporting attorneys in a White Collar Criminal Defense practice strongly preferred; Tax law experience is a plus.
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accuracy under deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision.
* Strong legal administrative skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and excellent written and verbal communication.

* Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
* Electronic document management systems
* Federal court filing (CM/ECF) and legal calendaring systems
* Document preparation and proofreading
* Litigation support and case management software
PREFERRED SKILLS
* Experience supporting matters involving securities fraud, wire fraud, bank fraud, healthcare fraud, tax fraud, money laundering, public corruption, bribery, or other government investigations.
* Experience preparing trial exhibits, trial notebooks, and organizing large volumes of discovery.
* Ability to handle highly confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
