Accounts Payable Supervisor

Location: Worthington, Ohio (Hybrid Schedule)
Compensation: Up to $50,000 annually

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee daily AP operations for a growing organization in the Worthington area. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to lead a team, ensure accurate and timely payment processing, and support continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting function.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Supervise day-to-day accounts payable activities and workflow
• 
  
• Review and approve invoices, payment batches, and vendor reconciliations
• 
  
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor payments
• 
  
• Monitor compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls
• 
  
• Train, mentor, and support accounts payable staff
• 
  
• Assist with month-end close and reporting activities
• 
  
• Manage vendor relationships and resolve payment discrepancies
• 
  
• Utilize Workday to process transactions, maintain records, and generate reports
• 
  
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency
• 
  

Qualifications

• 
  
• 3+ years of accounts payable experience
• 
  
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred
• 
  
• Hands-on experience with Workday required
• 
  
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and controls
• 
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• 
  
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• 
  
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
•
