Join Our Team as an X-Ray Tech Radiology / Cardiology
Are you a skilled Radiology or Cardiology X-Ray Technician seeking a dynamic opportunity to make a difference? Be part of a dedicated team providing high-quality imaging services in a short-term acute care facility, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment.
What Youll Need to Succeed:
- Valid ARRT certification and BLS certification are required.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team of technologists.
- Strong technical skills in operating various imaging equipment including Konica U-arm, Phillips, EOS, OEC, Dornier, and Zheim systems.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to manage a flexible workload with a caseload ranging from 30 to 75 patients daily.
Additional Skills That Are a Plus:
- Experience with fluoroscopy, including Modified Barium Swallows and Urodynamics procedures.
- Previous experience working in outpatient centers or acute care settings.
- Knowledge of Cerner charting system.
- Fluency in multiple imaging modalities or specialized procedures.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Associates degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in radiology or cardiology imaging.
- Active state licensure (pending licenses are acceptable for submission).
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work the scheduled shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM on a 5x8-hour schedule, Monday through Friday.
- Must adhere to hospital policies including scrubbing in royal blue and following facility-specific protocols.
- Reliable transportation and ability to work in an outpatient and hospital environment.
- Willingness to work with a diverse patient population with varied clinical needs.
