Border Patrol Jobs

Border patrol jobs fall under the control of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, a federal law enforcement agency. Border patrol agents are responsible for protecting the land borders with Canada and Mexico, as well as the coastal waters of Florida and California. You'll be the first line of defense against any illegal activity that could be a threat to the security of our country.
You'll prevent, intercept or arrest wanted and undocumented people or those involved in smuggling and narcotics. To do so, you watch immigration lines, conduct inspections at checkpoints and on transports, as well as following evidence and make use of electronic sensor alarms, infrared scopes, and other innovative technologies. You need to possess a series of soft and hard skills such as communication (preferably in foreign languages as well), critical thinking, decision-making, attention to detail, cultural awareness, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
