The division is in a uniquely qualified and independent position as an arm of the AF Armament Directorate by its ability to utilize the expertise of the entire AF armament enterprise to hone requirements discussions, guide and evaluate technology developments, analyze new concepts/tradespace, execute and coordinate rapid demonstrations, and capture/propagate lessons learned from across the DoD, its industry partners, and non-traditional sources. Our Systems Engineers apply and execute the following technical processes: requirements definition and analysis, architecture design, implementation, integration, verification and validation, transition, decision analysis, technical planning, technical assessment, requirements management, risk management, configuration management, technical data management, and interface management.
