Key ResponsibilitiesCategory Strategy and Assortment● Propose category-level assortment strategies for key owned classifications that ladder up to seasonal direction and brand goals● Curate product selection and assortments for key categories to successfully bring to market, ensuring the right product mix is executed at the right time● Develop product strategies by channel and account to optimize revenue, profitability, and timing to market● Ensure assortments reflect EILEEN FISHER’s commitments to sustainability, simplicity, and timeless designPerformance Analysis & Iteration● Track and analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to make informed decisions and optimize assortment● Partner with the Merch Planning Manager to assort and iterate off the established line plan, providing category context and recommending adjustments as the season evolves● Use competitive analysis and consumer insights to inform assortment decisions and keep the line relevant. This is a trueMerchandising role — not a Buying, Planning or Visual Merchandising role — focused on assorting within a seasonal framework, proposing category-level strategies, analyzing performance, and ensuring the right product mis reaches the right channels at the right time.
