Performs periodic maintenance, performance assurance, electrical safety inspections and other safety tests to any of the following specialized medical equipment: anesthesia machines, respiratory ventilators, surgical lasers, perfusion equipment, patient monitoring systems/networks, steam/plasma sterilization, or dialysis machines. The Biomedical Equipment Specialist provides Methodist LeBonheur Healthcare system responsibility for the total maintenance for one or more of the following devices: Anesthesia Machines, Respiratory Ventilators, Surgical Lasers, Perfusion Equipment, Patient Monitor Systems/Networks, Steam & Plasma Sterilization, and Dialysis.
