Prioritizes calls, collects patient data, documents condition, health history, ordered treatment and medications, analyzes information, and directs field paramedic activities using knowledge of Medical Control, EMS protocols, and ensures that the patient's condition is rapidly assessed and properly managed. Responsible for high-quality, effective management of patients, including accurate data collection and use of clinical practice guidelines, timely and thorough communication with nurses, paramedics, physicians, field and hospital personnel to ensure safe and effective services.
