Responsibilities also include checking resident meal trays for menu accuracy, assisting on the tray line during meal service, coordinating food preparation for special events, and stepping in to support other dietary roles such as cook or dietary aide when needed. This role is responsible for planning, assigning, and supervising dietary staff, managing schedules and payroll preparation, overseeing food storage and supplies, and ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen, dining areas, and equipment.
