Performs a variety of duties as assigned, including but not limited to, assisting patients with menu selection, accurate cash and charge transactions in compliance with department procedures, assembling and delivering trays, snacks, tube feedings, and nourishment, customer relations and service delivery, food preparation and storage, and general sanitation of the department. SERV-Safe Certification or equivalent certification from the Virginia Health Department or the ability to obtain certification within one year of hire date required for employees deemed in charge of departmental operations.
