Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills to perform machining operations (turning, boring, threading, facing, etc.) on cast iron, stainless steel, brass, bronze, carbon steel, plastic, Teflon, and other materials. Inspect machined parts to specifications and tolerances as close as ±.001 using micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, and other precision measuring instruments; obtain first-piece inspection approval.
