Architect and manage the Fabric lakehouse/warehouse (bronze, silver, and gold layers) and handle platform administration: capacity and cost management, gateway configuration, workspace security, and monitoring and alerting for pipeline failures and data freshness. Own the database estate end to end, including a small on-premises SQL Server footprint supporting in-house applications: backups and recovery, patching and upgrades, performance tuning, security and access, and other database needs as they arise.
