Scope of responsibility includes but is not limited to patient safety and satisfaction, assuring resources are readily available for each case, planning for next case needs, stocking core, ORs, supply, linen and other carts, sterilizing immediate use instruments, assisting with patient care, cleaning and preparing OR suite, and transporting of patients for perioperative services. Monitor supply inventory, order and restock central cores and outlying storage locations as volume dictates: Prioritize requests and required supplies and equipment based on level of need (emergent, urgent, elective).
