Provides outpatient and inpatient Podiatry consultation and surgical services such as osseous digital procedures, open management of digital fracture, partial ostectomy/exostectomy, hallux valgus surgery, hallux limitus surgery, as well as a full spectrum of soft tissue foot surgery such as excision of soft tissue tumor, tendon repair, and removal of deep foreign body. Provides local care of calluses and pedal ulceration such as deformed, painful and/or infected nails which may result in significant extension of infection, ulceration, disability, or gangrene; particularly in patients predisposed to infection or its extension by systemic disease (diabetes mellitus).
