Serve as a significant contributor to Design FMEAs (DFMEA) led by Design Engineering and Process FMEAs (PFMEA) led by Manufacturing Engineering - bringing quality, test, and field data to the analysis, challenging severity/occurrence/detection ratings, and verifying linkage from DFMEA to PFMEA to Control Plan so special/critical characteristics are identified and flowed down. Partner with Design & Release Engineering on drawing and specification reviews - tolerances, GD&T, acceptance criteria, and test limits (e.g., Hi-Pot, isolation, end-of-line functional) - and support Design-for-Manufacturing (DFM) and Design-for-Assembly (DFA) reviews.
