Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Current California RN license, 2 years of OR experience, BLS certification, ACLS certification within six months of employment and recertified every two years, PALS certification for ER nurses with initial certification required. Candidate must demonstrate age-specific competency for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, with skills to assess data reflective of the patients status and interpret relative to their needs.
