Job Duties: Cuts grass, weeds, trees, and brush; cleans culverts, drains, and ditches; moves, loads, and unloads materials, supplies, and equipment; removes obstructions from highway or premises; hauls or carries sand, lumber, asphalt, and cement; applies patching materials to highway surfaces; pours dirt, sand, and water into a mud jack and fills. This position is responsible for performing a variety of manual labor duties, including mowing grass, trimming shrubs, cutting brush, maintaining grounds, cleaning ditches and drains, moving materials and equipment, and assisting skilled maintenance personnel with general repairs and construction tasks.
