In the context of maintaining the ability to fulfill the University mission, evaluates probability, level of risk, responder's health and safety, impacts on individuals in proximity to events, continuity of routine operations, impacts to infrastructure and facilities, environmental impacts, economic impacts, regulatory impacts, and the institution's reputation. Additionally, the position supports the University of California systemwide continuity planning efforts, works closely with UC emergency managers, and prepares campus units to serve as emergency support functions addressing all aspects of campus emergency operations.
