Maintain and document consultation and/or staffing with relevant personnel, (i.e., Certified Addiction Counselor for dual diagnosed substance use/mental health clients), contracting agencies (i.e., Bureau of Prison and US Probation department), Reentry Case Managers (RCM), and Correctional Monitors (CM) to support an integrated treatment approach, as appropriate. The Licensed Mental Health Clinician provides quality, evidence-based mental health treatment services to increase client understanding of mental health symptomology, use of coping skills and psychotropic medication, as prescribed, that lead to improved functioning/management of behaviors and a reduction of recidivism for individuals diagnosed with mental illness and behavioral disorders.
