You will serve as a supportive resource for utilizing your mechanical expertise to ensure Herc fleet remain in proper operating condition on our customer jobsites, at all times. Ability to operate and test equipment such as boom lifts, forklifts, compressors, portable and stationary generators, hydraulics, pumps and assorted tools and equipment.
The EPG Service Advisor is responsible for communicating with internal and external customers to gather information regarding equipment issues and providing repair status updates while repairs are in progress; opening/processing work orders in an efficient and timely manner using thorough details on customer requests/complaints to ensure technician understanding and customer satisfaction. In addition to base pay, the compensation package may include participation in performance-based incentive programs (e.g., discretionary or non-discretionary plans), as well as overtime eligibility depending on the role.

The Rental Sales Representative is responsible for promoting Caterpillar equipment and Allied product rental, affecting the rental of all products assigned to the Division's rent-to-rent fleet to all customers and markets in accordance with the policies of Carter Machinery Company, Inc. We are currently offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus for Rental Sales Representative new hires, $2,500 is payable after 90 days of employment, and the remaining $2,500 is payable after 180 days of employment.
For individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude who are graduating high school, veterans exiting the military, or technicians wanting to change from other mechanical fields (i.e., automotive, HVAC, etc.) you may be a great candidate for our in-house fully accredited 15-month Apprenticeship Program.
