These duties may include, but are not limited to the following: Facilitating student learning by designing varied interactive learning environments; Working as a team with staff and administrators to create innovative educational experiences and providing an environment where students are partners in learning; Assisting in program planning, peer evaluation, educational project development and participating in personal and professional growth, as well as, professional development activities. Its colleges offer instruction to 225,000 students, annually, in 600 associates' degree and 400 certificate of achievement programs in general, career-technical and transfer education, and contribute significantly to the economic and social well-being of its students, the regional economy and the greater Los Angeles area.
